Trains Planes & Automobiles

Yesterday we got up a Zero Dark-Thirty to head out to Geneseo (where my husband’s parents live) to help them out with his father’s model train display & to help them break down at the end of the show. I also did all of his signage, including the sign at the front of the door with the guy’s names.

Of course my favorite part of this is the car show.

Hometown Days (Yorkville IL)

Sorry I haven’t updated in a while, I’ve been really really busy… Make sure if you have Facebook add me as a friend to keep up to date on what I’m doing, I seem to update Facebook more than anything these days.

This past weekend was Hometown Days in Yorkville IL. It was a fun little one day Arts & Crafts show in the town where my parents live. I had an awesome spot this year, and did fairly well given the economy.

I want to personally thank everyone who stopped by my booth that made it possible for me to continue doing this show.

I sent in my payment for my first mail-in for my friend Andy Hopp’s show Con on the Cob in October. Hopefully I’ll have one new piece to show, if not prints will be available on my website later on. Eventually I’ll be replacing all of my original paintings that I take with me to the shows with Canvas Prints, which I hope to have back from the printer and stretched BEFORE Con on the Cob.
