Gift of Art for Bill

I can finally share this with everyone, I’ve been keeping it a secret for a while now because it was a gift for my friend Bill and I didn’t want it to accidentally get shared with him before he received the painting.

I’ve never been into Jackson Pollock but now I have a much greater appreciation for his work than before. I need to plan a day trip into the city to wander around the Art Inst. In fact there are a bunch of artists I’m seeing in a new light these days. I really enjoyed creating this, I think I needed it. I will be using what I learned from this adventure in future works. It really opened my eyes to new possibilities.

update:
wasn’t sure I was going to post this one but really you can’t see in the other video how much that black dimensional paint really makes this painting ‘pop’.
