So I think it’s starting to emerge.
the last few days I’ve kinda felt creatively blocked. it’s been frustrating, but I’m glad it’s passing.
Also the financial stress will start to ease up a bit, the husband’s interview went well and starts his new job next week. I’ll be able to finally get to that new work I’ve been wanting to do for the shows this year. My original goal was to have all new paintings by GenCon.
Lots of work to do. ❤
just a quicky sketch & inking. I have an idea in my head that I just can’t coax out. I figure if I just keep drawing it’ll spill out onto my paper at some point.

Need to stop posting stuff for sale over at feebay. Ever since the economy went swirling down the drain feebay is a dead venue.
From now on everything is just going straight to my Etsy Shoppe.

So I ended up falling off the ‘A Sketch A Day’ wagon, I’m sorry about that. I got kinda busy.
One thing I can now share is the sketch for a new painting I’ll probably have done… soonish (as time permits), I will definitely have prints in time for GenCon. This was a rough for something else (can’t say what), “they” ended up going in another direction. =)
I really want to do more of this kind of work, maybe a series? who knows?
I’ve been working on a few painted sketch cards (between commissions & other things) to post on feebay Monday (Apr 18). Trying to get into the habit of a ‘rotation’ art done this week gets posted next week. That will free me up to do more work during the week.
I was actually able to fit both the pencil drawing and the painting into one video.

I decided to try something new, ‘A Sketch A Day’.
Lately I feel like I’m not doing enough pencil drawing, so to remedy that I’ve decided to do warm up sketches or just sketches in general. If I have the time I’ll post them as videos, if not I’ll just post the artwork.
Yesterday I was reading a blog that I follow: ✖ Helena is Red ✖ and was totally inspired by her makeup video (she always comes up with the most interesting concepts).
