Still working on a name/title for this one.
Will scan it after the holiday.
Now to start working on my Sexy Robot.
Hope everyone has a safe Independence Day!

I was so nervous that it would be just a big messy weekend with so much rain in the forecast, but as it turned out; there was no rain and the weather was great!
Thank you to everyone that came out to see me, it was great seeing and talking with everyone. =)
One thing I noticed this year at the craft show that there were far less people who actually craft, than people who buy catalog items and sell them at craft shows. My neighbor (at the show) and I were discussing that, it was mentioned that ‘Crafters’ are a dying breed. And there were sooooo many people selling jewelry, lots of it you could tell came from a catalog.
There was one jewelry vendor there that really caught my eye, years ago I had seen an ad in either Elle or Vogue for Trollbeads. Then I started seeing Pandora offering the same thing, this vendor had a set up where you picked your beads and they’d assemble the necklace or bracelet.
These are the beads for the bracelet I picked:
black cat cats eye beads on the ends with a pink & green floral bead in the center
I wish they had a website so I could link to it.
This will have to do:

Great, now the forecast calls for rain till Monday.
I guess there IS a bright side, the ‘Chance of Rain’ on those days is 50% and less. Who knows, maybe it’ll just pass by. I can only hope.
I finally started painting after (3+) years of it sitting in the ‘drawn’ stage.
Her face so far:
I’m still trying to figure out the color of her hair (I’m leaning towards a very dark paynes gray), her top (Kinda thinking a rust color), and the color of the baby octo. (maybe a light purple?). I hate to rush these kinds of things because I know later on I’ll regret it.
An artist friend of mine posted this as his status (on FB) “Half the time it takes to create a painting is spent sitting and working on it, the other half is spent standing and staring at it.”
Ain’t it the truth, you finally get it drawn, you stare at it for a week or so trying to visualize colors, then as your working on it you stop to stare at it making sure you’re going in the right direction; once it’s done you stare at it more trying to make sure it’s really done.
I was hoping to have it done by the craft show this weekend, I dunno we’ll see what happens tomorrow. *crosses fingers*
June 18 & 19 (this weekend)
Rain or shine I’ll be there… at the moment it looks more like rain, rain, rain. Should make for a muddy show. Right now since it’s going to be so icky, I’m not so sure I’ll be bringing my paintings. Might just have a bunch of prints on the the stand, but I’ll have a lot of other things; NEW Stickers, NEW OVAL Glass Pendants to name a few. =)
