I had an idea brewing before we left to meet up with some friends for lunch at the Mitsuwa Market in Arlington Heights, so I sketched what I could in the car before I could get motion sick. I had the best Udon from Kayaba, then had my first Chai Bubble Tea. OMG so good.
Since original art sales have been painfully slow, I’m going to start focusing on 1. Sketch Cards again and 2. doing work to put on products in my Society6 Store.

//platform.instagram.com/en_US/embeds.jsBeen trying to get some drawing done to participate in Inktober, but… The kittens we adopted had a flair up of Upper Respiratory Infection and ended up making ALL OF THE OTHER CATS SICK TOO. So for the past week and a half I’ve been disinfecting everything, every day, washing kitty blankets, food & water dishes. It’s tiring. Not to mention that the kittens are about 5 months old, so they are between biting all the time and cuddling. They still are not to the point of going to bed at night, instead they wrestle and bite on each other till they are booted off of the bed.
The muse is still restless, but the artist is exhausted.

Even though I’m happy with how this turned out, it still doesn’t satisfy my muse. Back to the sketchbook for more drawing.
