November…

This year it marks the end of Drawlloween, a month long drawing challenge, which I found massively fun and very inspiring; so much so I have 3 maybe 4 new illustrations to do from my Drawlloween Sketches. Also November marks the end of show season for me, my last show was ToyCon in Bridgeview IL on Nov 1st.

This is when the real work begins. Every artist craves change during their career, either subject matter, mediums used, a need to experiment more, I think I’m at that point again. I’ll be totally revamping my gallery, retiring old work to make way for new. Also I’ll be concentrating more on new illustrations for merchandise in my stores. Mainly Society 6, Zazzle, Redbubble, Tee Public & my new Threadless Shop. I’m also thinking of taking my ‘art cards’ to a new level, I need to experiment to see if what’s in my head is actually doable.

Video Re-Edit

Re-Edited… to add music that I could actually use and I wanted to do better titles but I’ve since deleted the original video capture files from my hard drive to make room. >..<  But I was able to squish both parts into one video. =)

I almost forgot about this video till I was updating my etsy listings.

I decided to go with one of their free music tracks because the track I used Warner Music owns. Let me tell you, YouTube’s selection of music sucks. But if you watch it NOW (10.02p 11-09-2011) you’ll hear the original track.

A Sketch A Day – Day 2

The idea itself came from a random conversation on one of my friends pages, and seemed more interesting than what I actually came up with. But none the less it fun. =)

And I know my Octi is short 2 legs. >.> They’re hidden somewhere behind him. Yeah that’s it. LOL.

A Sketch A Day – Day 1

I decided to try something new, ‘A Sketch A Day’.

Lately I feel like I’m not doing enough pencil drawing, so to remedy that I’ve decided to do warm up sketches or just sketches in general. If I have the time I’ll post them as videos, if not I’ll just post the artwork.

Yesterday I was reading a blog that I follow: ✖ Helena is Red ✖ and was totally inspired by her makeup video (she always comes up with the most interesting concepts).
